A Breaking Bad spinoff is in “serious talks” according to star of the show Aaron Paul.  Creator Vince Gilligan has been talking to Aaron Paul about “Breaking Bad”  and a spinoff.

Creator Vince Gilligan is planning a spinoff to Breaking Bad called “Better Call Saul” and has been talking to Aaron Paul about his ideas.  Because of the immense success of the show, he is having trouble getting a lot of the cast interested since they have been getting offers for many other ventures.  Aaron Paul though, has said he is excited and hopes he is cast for the spinoff.

Breaking Bad started in 2008 ended in September 2013.  It has been regarded as the best TV show and the Guinness Book of World Records has also named the series the highest rating television series.  It’s season 5 Metacritic score was an amazing 99 out of 100.

The spinoff of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, will be about Saul Goodman, the shady lawyer from Breaking Bad.  The show will still have the same story line of Breaking Bad but will not center around Walter White.  It will continue to have the same themes and characters.  The show will be an hour long with 75% comedy and 25% drama.  From the sounds of it, they have figured out a lot about the show and the “serious talks” have a good chance of becoming a reality.  Better Call Saul will draw a huge fan base, but will have a lot to live up to after the huge success of Breaking Bad.
