Everywhere you look the media is pushing you telling you who to follow, what to watch and when to watch it.   You’re even sometimes told how to do it all.  Truth is, here at American Live Wire we do a bit of that too.  The big difference is we also tell you why.

Good question. Mind you the answer to this question is largely a matter of personal taste and preferences. After all, we here at ALW posted an article on the advantages of buying a PC quite some time ago. (If you didn’t read it yet, you should read it soon.)

Still, the question today is “Why should I buy a Mac computer?”  So let’s get to it. There are indeed a few obvious advantages to buying a Mac.

A cursory internet search will reveal testimonies from people regarding the benefits of working on a Mac computer. One particular advantage that many people note is that Macs seem to work faster. They also appreciate how compact many Macs are as well.

“Why should I buy a Mac computer?”  Another common point that Mac users put out there is the advantages when it comes to security issues. All computer users have some concern regarding the threat of viruses and other “bugs”. When a computer user purchases a Mac it comes with the virus protection already built in to the system. What is more, the virus protection that comes with a Mac is periodically upgraded without any additional cost to the owner.

One online Mac owner said he purchased his first Mac at noon and was using it almost immediately upon arriving home with no installation problems. He had the same experience with his second Mac even though it was a newer, more sophisticated model. Other Mac usersâ€"most of which are only average computer usersâ€"also report similar experiences. When a Mac owner needs new software he or she simply visits the local Apple store.

Mac users don’t often have to replace parts either. Mac users believe that their computers always provide them with top quality pictures and videos as well. There is no question of clarity.

“Why should I buy a Mac computer?”  They also note that it’s very easy to switch from a PC to a Mac. Last but not least, people enjoy that if they need a tutorial they can easily find them online. To Mac users, it should be obvious that there are numerous benefits to using their choice as opposed to a PC.

There’s a lot to consider when buying a Mac or a PC.  After all, this is the computer age.
