Weatherbug is one of them. Weatherbug, originally designed to be incorporated with Compaq products, is an updated app that provides users with only what many online critics feel are the most important things: local weather maps, local weather videos and forecasts. The advertisement-supported version is free, although for one dollar a user may purchase the ad-free Weatherbug Elite. For iPad users, the Elite version is free.

One popular iPhone weather app is Outside. Critics at the website gizmodo.com feel this app has a noteworthy presentation.  Their review of the site indicates that high points are the use of the “virtual window” display, the appropriate decorations, smooth animation and data that is comprehensive but understandable.  Furthermore, these online experts also praised the app for the easy navigation and awarded it their own “Silver Medal”.  Users may even purchase push notification capability for an additional cost, over the regular price of $3.00.

According to the reviews, yet another weather app that works especially well with the iPad is Seasonality Go. This app collects and displays weather information available to it. This app will provide the user with detailed information such as astronomical data, dew-points and barometric pressure. It even displays the data in a matrix of weather graphs. The cost of this hardcore weather app can cost a user as much as $10.00. Most critics review Seasonality Go as well worth the money spent.  Checking the weather before those holiday trips is easy with any of these iPhone weather apps.
