All the way back in 2011 peppy young pop-star wannabe Rebecca Black became an overnight sensation and YouTube smash, with her annoyingly catchy teen hit Friday. Well, now Black is back with its logical follow-up, Saturday, and this time sheâs got Dave Dayâs in on the act.

Appropriately enough the video hit YouTube on, yep you guessed it, Saturday - and as of Monday afternoon it has more than 10.5 million views. For the record, and to make a comparison,  Friday was viewed more than 61 million times to date by Tween music lovers worldwide.
As the video opens, itâs the day after the big party from Friday, and Black, 16, sings that sheâs âtrying to get Friday out of my head.â Miss Black, 16, collaborated on the song with Dave Days, a fellow YouTube sensation known for his popular song covers.
Channeling her inner Miley âSaturdayâ finds Black and her teen entourage partying! Her crew are picking up mess from Friday nightâs âcray-crayâ fest, complete with discarded cups, passed-out teenagers, and a portable poker set thatâs just a touch askew.
One quick little video montage later and we see the kids hitting the beach and throwing (yet) another house party, singing their hearts out about big plans for the insane weekend ahead:
âThis Saturday we gonna party all night/ one we will remember for the rest of our lives./This Saturday we gonna do it bigger than/ we ever have before, I donât want this Saturday to end!/ I donât want this Saturday to end!â
Britainâs Independent Newspaper dubbed Saturday âever-so-slightly less horrifyingâ than Friday. What do you think?
